Subscription Terms and Conditions Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2024

1. Introduction

These Subscription Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Global Social Innovators Advice Service subscription, which is provided by Global Social Innovators (“we”, “us”, “our”). By subscribing to our service, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully before subscribing.

2. Eligibility

To subscribe to our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.

• Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts under U.K. law.

• Provide accurate personal information during registration.

By subscribing, you confirm that you meet these criteria.

3. Subscription Plans

We offer several subscription plans, which vary in price and benefits. Details of the available plans can be found on our website. By signing up for a subscription, you agree to the applicable fees and the features offered under the selected plan.

4. Payment and Billing

4.1 Fees

The subscription fee for the service will be charged according to the plan you selected, either monthly or annually. All fees are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

4.2 Billing Cycle

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You will be charged on the same day each month or year, depending on your chosen plan.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment again before suspending your access to the service.

4.3 Changes to Fees

We reserve the right to adjust our subscription fees. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance, and the new fee will apply to your next billing cycle. If you do not agree with the fee changes, you may cancel your subscription before the new rate takes effect.

5. Reduced Subscriptions and Promotional Offers

We may offer Reduced Subscriptions or other promotions. These offers are subject to these Terms and any additional terms that may apply. After the trial period, regular subscription fees will apply unless you cancel before the end of the trial.

6. Cancellation and Termination

6.1 Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. If you cancel, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, after which your subscription will not renew.

6.2 Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Under U.K. law, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of entering into the contract without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing or via email.

If you request to start using the service immediately during the cooling-off period and later cancel, you may be charged for the proportion of the service provided.

6.3 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your subscription if you breach these Terms or for other lawful reasons. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.

7. Refund Policy

No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of your subscription if you cancel after the cooling-off period. Refunds will only be issued if we are legally required to do so.

8. Access to Services

Your subscription provides access to the features and services listed in your subscription plan. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the services are available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

9. Changes to Subscription Plans or Features

We reserve the right to make changes to the subscription plans or features at any time. You will be notified in advance of any significant changes, and you may cancel your subscription if you do not agree with the changes.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

We comply with the U.K. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By subscribing, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Use of the Service

The service is for personal use only and must not be used for any commercial or unlawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

12. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the service, including text, images, videos, and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any of the content without our express written consent.

13. Liability

13.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the service.

13.2 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under U.K. law. If there is a problem with the service, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you, and your continued use of the service will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
